About us

An organized desk scene inside a small Bronx legal consultation office, featuring a large open binder labeled “Evictions & Housing Court” with color-coded tabs, next to a neatly stacked pile of housing forms including One Shot Deal and rent arrears applications with visible but unreadable form layouts. A matte-black laptop is closed to one side, and a small potted plant adds a touch of green. Warm, soft desk-lamp lighting combines with faint natural light from an unseen window, creating a balanced, inviting glow. Photographic realism, shot from a slightly elevated angle with moderate depth of field, conveying a calm, professional, and reassuring atmosphere that reflects focused housing law guidance without any human presence.

We’re a small landlord and tenant office serving property owners and renters alike, focused on landlord and tenant disputes, landlord and tenant representation.

Twenty-five years in this work teaches you one thing above all: Most people in a housing dispute aren’t losing because they’re wrong — they’re losing because nobody explained how the process works. We’ve seen it from every angle — the landlord who lost months of rent waiting on a filing error, the tenant who signed away a right they didn’t know they had. Both sides, same problem.

Our work starts with information. The rules, timelines, and realistic options — laid out clearly, so you can decide from a position of strength rather than fear. Empowering landlords and tenants alike isn’t a slogan for us; it’s our method.

Landlords come to us to protect their investments. Tenants come to us to understand their rights. We take both sides seriously, because a fair process serves everyone.

Whatever side of the lease you’re on, you deserve to understand it.

Our Story

Twenty-five years in landlord and tenant work teaches you one thing above all: most people in a housing dispute aren’t losing because they’re wrong. They’re losing because nobody explained how the process works.

We’ve seen it from every angle — the landlord who lost months of rent waiting on a filing error, the tenant who signed away a right they didn’t know they had. Both sides, the same problem.

So we built a small office around fixing it. Clear answers, both sides of the lease, no assumption that you already speak the language.

Twenty-five years later, that’s still the whole idea.

A clean bulletin board mounted on a neutral office wall, filled with neatly pinned, color-coded documents related to Bronx housing resources. Prominent headings read “Housing Court Dates,” “One Shot Deal Checklist,” and “Rent Arrears Options,” with the detailed text intentionally blurred. Small index cards list local agencies and emergency assistance programs, separated by thin string dividers. Soft, diffused fluorescent office lighting evenly illuminates the board, enhancing the legibility of key titles and the subtle colors of the paper. Photographic realism, framed straight-on at eye level with sharp focus across the entire board, creating an orderly, informative, and reassuring mood that emphasizes structured support for landlord and tenant issues.
